A BIT ABOUT ME...
I am a freelance Culinary & Lifestyle photographer based out of New York City. My style walks the line between fine art & photojournalism, bringing a fresh perspective and an eclectic range of experience to the table.
You can typically find me balancing on top of a ladder/table/roof or car with my camera in one hand, and an iced coffee in the other. My love for the excitement of the unknown, and the challenges of the unexpected translate into both my personal life and my work. No day on the job is ever the same, so resourcefulness and flexibility are key.
I work with an array of interesting and unique clients, some being well established brands, others bourgeoning new restaurants, purveyors, or craftsman.
No matter how large or small, my philosophy is based on a foundation of building long term relationships with each of my clients, working together from the start to develop their creative vision and bring it to life. As such, I often take on many roles including producer, creative director, photographer, prop stylist, and editor all in one.
In the winter of 2017 I had the pleasure of shooting and producing my first Cookbook for notable East Coast pastry company, Baked By Melissa. It will launch this fall.
